Summer, 2010

There's not much learning going on here in the summer. There's a lot of maintenance and repair to get ready for students in the Fall, and office paperwork to record student achievement and improve teaching practices to increase learning. The first day of school for students in the Fall is September 1.

Sign up to participate in the Summer Reading Program. Prizes will be awarded to students who read over 500 pages. Extra credit will be available from English & Reading teachers and a grand prize for most pages read will be awarded. Individuals or groups will complete large public works of art with an anti-meth message. Three prizes are awarded for each county; 1st place $1500, 2nd place $1,000 and third place $500.
