For a behavior problem that would typically force a teacher to send a student to the office, teachers will now send the student to another classroom for the remainder of the period. The student is not permitted back into class until a conference has been held between the student and the teacher to discuss the problem and reach some kind of solution. The students will not be permitted to do classwork while in the new classroom, but will instead be required to complete a form that reviews their behavior for discussion with the teacher. If the teacher and student do not reach a solution, a conference with the principal can be scheduled. Disruptions that continue in the new classroom will be referred to the principal immediately.

The drink machine outside the office is to be used only during break and lunch. (RALSTON)

Mandatory meeting for all LCC College Algebra students today at break in Mr. Bara’s room. Class starts Monday, August 31st. Thanks. (BARA)

Sign-ups for Pep Club will be today through Friday at lunchtime in the auditorium. Bring money and let us know what size T-shirt you need – we want to place the order soon. We will have a poster party next Tuesday after school in the lunchroom. (GOE/COY)

TODAY, mentors are expected to pick up their mentees. The Tuesday mentors will begin next week. If you missed the training, come to my room at lunchtime on Thursday. (CHIAVERINI)

Please stay in the locker that is assigned to you. See the office is there is a problem. Locks can be checked out at the office – only school locks are allowed on your lockers. (OFFICE)
