The Troy Community Blood Drive will be held on Thursday, April 29th, at the Troy High School auditorium from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. Stop by the office and make an appointment. If you are 17 you can donate with parental consent – pick up a form from the office. (OFFICE)

FREE! 18-Hole Disc Folf tournament at the Troy Museum and Folf Course this Saturday (April 24th) starting at 4:00 p.m. Cash prizes for best score. Grade school, Jr. High and High School are all welcome to attend. Then enjoy a barbecue, music, door prizes and fun at the Troy Community Baptist Church fellowship hall at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is invited! Bring your family! Question: call the church at 295-4206. (C. Junior Police Leadership Academy Applicants: Your deadline is Friday, April 23rd. As Mr. Palmer will be out of the office, please deliver your completed application to chief McLeod or drop them off with the dispatcher at the City Hall. (PALMER)

SENIORS: The Eric Groff Memorial, Kathy Berke Memorial, and Troy All School Alumni-Jim Johnston Memorial Scholarships are due on Friday, April 23rd. As I will be out of the office, please turn them in to either Cookie or Shannen in the front office. They will place them in my mailbox. (PALMER)

I need to see the students attending the Art Interscholastics some time today. We need to arrange what art work you will be taking for the student show. You also need a blue slip for the last part of 4th block. (J. PALMER)

8th GRADERS and their TEACHERS: 8th grade students will be taking a survey, conducted by the University of Michigan, on Thursday April 29th. The survey will be about 45 minutes long and occur at 10:00 am (beginning of second block) in Mr. Smith/Mrs. Selle's room. Please plan accordingly. (PALMER)

Spring Individual pictures will be taken TODAY. The process will be the same as the fall – you must have your money with you on picture day. Envelopes are in the office – stop by and pick one up. (OFFICE)

There are three summer camp opportunities available to interested students. The Junior Police Leadership Academy has an April 23rd application deadline for those interested in learning more about careers in law enforcement. MedStart is a week-long workshop in July to be held on the MSU campus. It's deadline for application is April 19th. Lastly the Yaak Valley Forest Council will sponsor the Dodge Summit Youth Restoration weekend on June 4-7. This last opportunity will be granted .25 "School to Work" credits. Lincoln County Poetry Contest: The topic is “Spring.” Please turn in entries to an English teacher by April 30th. (CHIAVERINI)

Ms. Willis’s room will be open 1 hour after school on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons. You can catch up on homework, type essays, do research etc. (WILLIS)
