The gym will be open after the game tonight for basketball, volleyball, board games and food (the food is not free). The “5th Quarter” is sponsored and supervised by Troy parents and the Troy Booster Club. It is open until midnight to those in 7th grade and older. (RALSTON)

Seniors: On Tuesday, September 23, Mr. Palmer will train you on the use of the Montana Career Information Systems software. This includes career development tools, college and scholarship searches, ACT and SAT practice test information, and a TON of other very important stuff. Training will be first block in the computer lab. Seniors Adams through Lind will meet the first half of the block: Messerly through Williamson will meet the second half of the block. STUDENTS AND TEACHERS MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!!

The Junior High Student Council meeting is canceled for today – we will meet next week. (MILLER)

A junior or senior with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 who would like to be considered for NHS – see Ms. Drury. Forms must be completed by Friday, Sept. 26th. (DRURY)

Homecoming is just around the corner. Please pay your class dues – you will need to buy supplies for the festivities. Freshmen – you need to get money in your account, bring your $10.00 to the office. (OFFICE)

SENIORS: You will need a blue slip, signed by a parent and all your teachers, for the College Fair on September 25th. Don’t wait until the last minute. (PALMER)

ALL: The Counseling office will be closed on Monday, September 22, the morning of Wednesday, September 24, and all day on Thursday, September 25th. (PALMER)

Break Detention will be in Mr. Lizotte’s room this week. (OFFICE)

Foreign Language Club: You tickets must be turned in to me by September 26th. (CHIAVERINI)

SENIORS: TODAY is the deadline for registering for the October 25th ACT. This test is offered in Libby or Noxon. There is no athletic conflict with that date, although there is a home volleyball match that afternoon/evening. The Act test would be finished by lunch. You are STRONGLY encouraged to take this test if you are considering going to college next year, as you will have the opportunity to both see your scores and determine if you’d like to retest (if the results are lower that you need.) ALSO: if you qualify for free or reduced hot lunch, you can take the ACT TWICE this year for free! See Mr. Palmer for registration and practice test materials. (PALMER)
