SENIORS: There's been a fraudulent ACT/SAT test preparation telemarking scheme that has made the rounds in the Flathead area. The caller makes claims that the college-bound student signed up for the service at the Kalispell college fair and then solicits personal information, including credit card information. THIS IS A SCAM!!! If you or your parents receive such a call (originating from 866-569-1215,) please report it to the police. (PALMER)

Troy High School students (grades 9-12) may bring one guest to the Winter Ball Jan 9. Guests must be enrolled in high school or recently graduated (08 or 09), be under 21 years old, and be interviewed by Ms. Haaland and Mr. Ralston. The guest's reputation will be the determining factor in the decision to admit them and staff decisions are final. The guest is expected to be a 'partner' of the Troy student host and not simply a way to get in the door. The student host will be responsible for the behavior of the guest and be subject to subsequent disciplinary action. Guest tickets will not be sold until the guest is approved, and in no case will be sold within three days of the dance. (RALSTON)

Student’s attending the winter ball: there is a sign up sheet at the office for songs that you would like to be played at the dance. Please stop by and request songs so our D.J. will know what kind of music to play. If you don’t come by – no complaining! (FCCLA)

Advance ticket sales in the auditorium at lunchtime for the Winter Ball. It will be held in the high school gym on January 9th. Prices are $8.00 for couples and $5.00 for a single ticket. The dance is semi-formal – no jeans. No skirts, no tennis shoes, guys need to wear button up shirts & slacks. Girls need to wear dresses. Contact Rachel Garcia or Ann Hines if you can’t get a dress – we know of some you can borrow (they are pretty). (FCCLA)

JMG is selling candy grams. They will be 2 candy canes with a message and will cost $2.00 each. We will be selling them in the auditorium during first and second lunches starting Wednesday. The candy grams will be delivered on Friday, December 18th, during the first half of first block. (JMG)

Ms. Willis’s room will be open 1 hour after school on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons. You can catch up on homework, type essays, do research etc. (WILLIS)
